2016 09 18 - New Kite !

Picked up a new 2016 Cab Switchblade with a 2015 bar.  Awesome. Met up with James and Pete for the first session.  It is very stable in the air, particularly for rotational tricks - great not to get yanked in crazy directions.  Sits beautifully in position.  The real standout is the new bar - easy swivels to remove tangles and great new lines.  Very excited to have it in the back pocket for the epic trip to Tasmania later in the year.

2016 09 17 - Family day at Brighton

Took Tina and the kids down to Brighton for a northerly session.  Northerlies at Brighton are great - kids can have fun on the beach whilst I have fun on the kite.  Met up with Tarren and his friend Jan, Pete joined us too.  Great northerly - with some solid wind - great to have a totally unexpected session.

2016 09 10 - Morning roarer

Great early morning session at Hampton.  Wind looked pretty heavy at first, so went the small kite.  Fun session in the waves with Pete, Tarren and James.

2016 09 03 - Toeside forward 360 transition - hell yeah

Dawn session at Hampton with Pete, James and Stu.  South westerly early so we had to go a long way offshore to get wind, but once there it was pretty good.  Still had to work the kite, but pulled a few kiteloops and backloops with kiteloops.  Finally landed a toeside forward 360 transition after many years of faceplants - stoked ! Wind swung pretty heavily west - which opened up some amazing flat water and good power - James and I took full advantage, great fun.  Stu unfortunately got there a bit late so missed the good wind, he smacked his head on his board with an audible thud - horrible to hear.  Seemed ok but certainly put a lid on his fun for the day.
