Kiteventure

 Met up with Mark at Hampton to watch the seabreeze slowly build.  James turned up just in time for the action.  Went out on the nugget and it continued to build until it turned full cranking.  Swap to twin tip for some big air action.  Grabbed the sutures from Garry afterwards to repair the stitching on my kite again.

 Was down the beach for a long time, flying the kite for close to 3 hours but it was 50 minutes of actual good kite time.  Was fun whilst it lasted and the water was spectacular.  Big turnout - Stu, Mark, Pete, Mike, James, Garry and a mate.

 Got out inbetween massive rain storms (and throughout one as well).  Wind oscillated between 15 knots and about 30 - super fun jumps, great waves.  Water wasn't that clean but had an absolute ball.  Joined by Pete about halfway through the session and Mike at the end.\ Great end to 3 days in the ocean after a trip down the coast with Darren in his van.  3 sup surfs at Point Addis and urqharts.

 Knocked the cobwebs out after a night out at the Lizard lounge reunion.

 Had to debate whether to go small or big kite at first.  Got the big kite out and it was perfect.  Headed up to the pier where the water was a little cleaner.  Fun waves and big air.  Landed one jump badly and smacked in very shallow water.  Totally overpowered at times as it came in hard towards the end of the session.  Ripping day !

 Ominous signs so I put up a 7m with Taz and James.  Went one way and just running parallel to the shore, turned around and the front hit and I was able to go a lot upwind.  Wind really started cranking and was getting serious air so decided to pull a kite loop and glide in.  Unfortunately I was fully powered so I got absolutely spanked.  Super fun session, got to jump across to the nugget when the wind backed off a bit.  And also got to see the latest cut of the Lombok movie. yay.

 Season has kicked off in style with a Sunday evening sea breeze session.  Got out on both the nugget and the twin tip.  Saw Natalie, Rich, Steve - same crew as always.  Took a beating at times but that is all part of the fun.
