2021 10 16 - Aspendale with Taz on Clouds, James on fire, Stu on surfboard and Pete on camera

 Rock solid wind and all up an awesome session.  Great waves rolling in which made for some nice ramps.  Didn't do too many rotational tricks today, the wind was pretty strong so just went for airtime.  Pete  is still laid up after a mountain biking incident so took some great pics and some video. 
Dropped off some firewood to Eugene to thank him for his amazing drone footage from earlier in the year.  He takes some amazing drone footage around Aspendale - well worth checking out.

2023 10 01 - Seaford - blown off the water

 Headed out with James for the first kite of the daylight savings season.  And what a cracker.  What looked to be a little over 20 knots soon turned out to be quite a bit more.  We put kites up and I was somewhat surprised that James headed straight downwind.  Once I was on the water it was clear that the wind was quite a bit stronger than we thought.  Got some massive massive air, thought about pulling a loop coming down but worried I would end up in the dunes.  After 30 mins it got to the point where I could barely hold the kite down.  James pulled safety so we put kites down happy to have got through the session.
