2025 12 07 - Sandy point morning

Wind came hooting in Sunday morning so we had an epic session in the waves.

2025 12 06 - Sandy point weekend

Strong wind forecast came in for Sunday morning, and Saturday afternoon looked like a chance, so we headed down to Walkerville in the Jamesmobile on Sat afternoon.  Stopped off at Venus bay, but with wind looking more likely we headed down to Sandy point.  And it was on !  Great late afternoon kite with the big kites and big waves.  Topped off with a delicious meal at the Fish Creek pub.  James, Pete, Mike, Stu and I had a ball.

2026 12 27 - Big turnout, awesome wind at Hampton

Job, Mark, Styles, Anthony, Garry all showed up for a 20-22 knot breeze.  Tonnes of wind so I gave most things a crack.  Tried triples, forward roll transitions and jumps on my weaker side.  Managed to land some forward rolls with decent height on my non preferred.  Lots of transitions with loops and just heaps of fun.  Went up to the sea wall for some flat water action.   Great to see Job on the water again after a tough year for him.  Big grins all round after that cracker of a session.

2025 12 26 - Boxing day - Wind anesti

Yes, it came back again stronger than before.  I'd just packed up the lines, had to lay them out, grab the twinnie and away we go.  Super fun session and well powered.

2025 12 26 - Boxing day joy

Went out with the nugget and twintip (at times) at Hampton with Stu, Mark and Pete.  Nugget was the go, with stronger bursts coming through that allowed for some nice jumps.

2025 12 20 - Rickets point on a seabreeze

I wanted to catch up with Grant so thought we should combine it with a sail. Hit Ricketts at 5pm and it felt like a seabreeze was gonna hit.  Looked a bit marginal so went out with the Nugget.  It was perfect, was able to keep up wind easily, jump, do whatever I liked.  Mark, Grant and Hamish all joined in.  Great little session.

2025 12 14 - Aspendale to Frankston - down and back

Epic tour where the wind played along perfectly. James, Stu, Pete, Mark, Anthony and I gathered at Aspendale.  Truckloads of wind and straight westerly.  We hung around Aspendale until everyone was in the water, then set off down to Frankston.  Lots of great waves along the way, particularly standing up near Carrum yacht club, Seaford and closer to Frankston.  We stuck together on the way down.  I checked my watch and we were making pretty poor time - about 1 hour 20 in and still some way from Frankston so I hit the gas.  I got as far as the start of Frankston and the wind had swung south westerly, I couldn't make much ground up the beach.  Perfect timing to turn around and start the leisurly run back. Had a ball just riding waves as much as possible all the way back.  At some stage I was a fair way in front of everyone then James came roaring back taking a straight line along the foreshore.  5 of us got back fine - Anthony bailed out f...
